Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, and post journal entries.
  • Drive timely month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with business units for operational understanding and accurate reporting.
  • Apply accounting judgment and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Prepare quarterly account fluctuation analyses.
  • Efficiently address tax and audit requests.
  • Provide budget support and variance analysis.
  • Partner across departments to improve financial reporting and processes.
  • Support financial system upgrades, including testing and implementation.
  • Document and update accounting procedures.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analyses and special projects for Accounting Management and Finance leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred).
  • 4+ years progressive Accounting/Finance experience (public accounting a plus).
  • Strong GAAP and general accounting knowledge.
  • Proficiency in major accounting software (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on continuous improvement.
