Dolce & Gabbana in NYC seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to support daily accounting operations, focusing on cash transactions and leading to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cash flow reports. This hybrid role involves reviewing chargebacks, preparing journal entries (including payroll and accruals), calculating percentage rent, performing bank reconciliations and general ledger analysis (specifically for cash and credit card receivables), reconciling payroll data, processing T&E reports, and rebilling intercompany charges. The Accountant will also assist with year-end tasks and support audits.
The ideal candidate possesses strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups), a solid understanding of US GAAP, experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics), general ledger knowledge, and familiarity with digital payment systems. Strong analytical and mathematical abilities are essential.
The salary range is $80,000 – $85,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurances, a 401(k) plan, and FSA plans. Total compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
