About the Role

Medtronic’s GOSC Controllership – Record to Report North America team manages accounting for U.S. and Canadian manufacturing plants. Our diverse team of professionals supports critical processes, including statutory and corporate income tax reporting, group reporting, and audit coordination.

This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and demonstrates flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and adaptability to change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare manual journal entries, intercompany debit/credit memos, and GR/IR reconciliations.

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline/OneStream.

  • Support closing activities, statutory reporting, and group reporting requirements.

  • Participate in and lead LEAN methodology process improvements to optimize and standardize financial operations.

  • Compile, analyze, and report financial data to support decision-making.

  • Maintain controls over accounts in areas such as expenses, disbursements, and tax payments.

  • Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and consolidated reports.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, auditing standards, and internal controls.

  • Support projects to transform, automate, and streamline reporting processes.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 2+ years of accounting or finance experience.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.

  • SAP or other ERP experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset.

  • Business-level English proficiency.
