About the Role
Crate & Barrel is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our corporate finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining financial integrity by supporting monthly and annual general ledger closes, preparing reconciliations, and delivering accurate reporting. Working cross-functionally, you’ll directly contribute to the growth of a trusted brand with over 60 years of history in creating timeless, responsibly sourced home furnishings.
What You’ll Do

Perform monthly journal entries and assist with monthly/annual closes.

Complete account reconciliations, schedules, and reports for audits, tax, and compliance.

Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Analyze monthly and quarterly expenses, preparing financial insights for leadership.

Manage ad hoc reporting and contribute to special projects.

Research accounting issues and recommend solutions to support business decisions.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).

Minimum 2 years of corporate accounting experience (public accounting a plus).

Strong knowledge of Excel; PeopleSoft or Hyperion experience a plus.

Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.

Pay Range
-
Starting Rate: $60,000 annually
-
Up to: $85,000 annually
Adjusted upward as required by applicable state and local law.
