Accountant

About the Role

Crate & Barrel is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our corporate finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining financial integrity by supporting monthly and annual general ledger closes, preparing reconciliations, and delivering accurate reporting. Working cross-functionally, you’ll directly contribute to the growth of a trusted brand with over 60 years of history in creating timeless, responsibly sourced home furnishings.

What You’ll Do

• Perform monthly journal entries and assist with monthly/annual closes.

• Complete account reconciliations, schedules, and reports for audits, tax, and compliance.

• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Analyze monthly and quarterly expenses, preparing financial insights for leadership.

• Manage ad hoc reporting and contribute to special projects.

• Research accounting issues and recommend solutions to support business decisions.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).

• Minimum 2 years of corporate accounting experience (public accounting a plus).

• Strong knowledge of Excel; PeopleSoft or Hyperion experience a plus.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.

Pay Range

• Starting Rate: $60,000 annually

• Up to: $85,000 annually
  Adjusted upward as required by applicable state and local law.
