Accounting and Finance Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance and Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and support strategic decision-making. Based in Foothill Ranch, California, this on-site role plays a pivotal part in strengthening financial discipline, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all core accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.

• Manage cash flow, oversee treasury activities, and maintain effective banking and investment relationships.

• Design, implement, and enforce robust internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance and data integrity.

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to executive leadership.

• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory standards and internal financial protocols.

• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.

• Lead finance-specific projects, from workflow design to post-implementation performance monitoring.

• Utilize advanced financial systems and tools to enhance reporting and operational accuracy.

• Provide insightful financial guidance and analysis to support company growth and performance improvement.

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, cultivating a culture of continuous development and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications are strongly preferred.

• 7–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.

• Retail finance or financial services industry experience is highly desirable.

• Proficient in financial systems and software; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, regulatory frameworks, and internal controls.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven leadership experience.

• Ability to work on-site in Foothill Ranch, CA.
