About the Finance Team
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
How You’ll Help Us Improve Healthcare
- Manages accounting, financial systems, policies, procedures, and accurate and timely accounting records.
- Protects Company assets by helping establish, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Oversees accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions.
- Ensures compliance with state, federal, and local regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Responsible for closing the books monthly in a timely manner.
- Manages the relationship with outside professionals for financial statements and tax filings.
A Few Things About You
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience with a minimum of two years as Accounting Manager or Supervisor
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and controls environment
- Excellent leadership, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
- BS or MS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Hands on experience with Quickbooks, and Bamboo payroll preferred
- CMA or CPA preferred
