Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant with a strong focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and proficiency in NetSuite ERP to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end AP function, supporting Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks, and ensuring the financial accuracy of multiple subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will bring advanced accounting knowledge, a deep understanding of AP workflows, and proven expertise in NetSuite.

This is a hybrid position based in Farmers Branch, TX, requiring four days on-site and one remote day per week.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable Oversight: Manage the full AP cycle, including invoice review, approvals, and timely payment processing.

  • Accounts Receivable Support: Assist with AR tasks such as billing, payment tracking, and account reconciliation.

  • NetSuite Expertise: Utilize NetSuite to handle financial transactions, ensure data integrity, and generate reports.

  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular AP account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

  • Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, respond to inquiries, and resolve payment issues.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to AP.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all accounting processes adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance team members and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

  • Subsidiary Management: Maintain accurate financial records and reporting for multiple subsidiaries.

  • Audit Assistance: Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.

  • Experience: At least 4 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable. Prior experience with NetSuite ERP is required.

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.

  • Analytical Ability: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.

  • Team-Oriented: Collaborative approach with a positive attitude.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiar with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
