About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Representative to support our growing team. In this role, you’ll handle vendor management, payment processing, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure smooth and accurate accounts payable operations.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

  • Assign general ledger coding to invoices and direct them through workflow approvals

  • Maintain AP imaging/approval workflow settings and permissions

  • Review and reconcile vendor statements and American Express corporate card activity

  • Prepare and process payment batches (AMEX One & Bank of America platforms)

  • Distribute signed checks as required

  • Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and professionally

  • Maintain AP reports, spreadsheets, and files for compliance and auditing

  • Reconcile financial reports with account balances and records as requested


What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree (or equivalent experience)

  • Knowledge of healthcare billing, patient registration, and insurance policies

  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, BC/BS, Workers’ Compensation, Managed Care, and Commercial insurance regulations

  • Ability to review and interpret patient bills and EOBs

  • Strong skills in identifying and correcting financial data errors
