Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage invoices, vendor payments, and financial operations. You will work closely with our accounting partners and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely processing and compliance with accounting standards. This part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoys autonomy.
Key Responsibilities

Process employee, contractor, and vendor invoices efficiently.

Serve as primary contact for accounting firm partners and AP-related tasks.

Manage inventory invoices and purchase order discrepancies.

Oversee accounts payable credit card purchases and expense reports.

Coordinate with operations to manage payment dates and terms.

Maintain and manage financial tools, including Mercury, Ramp, American Express, and Parker.

Review monthly sales tax numbers and ensure timely filing with vendors.

Create and maintain SOPs for reporting, contracts, and AP processes.

Respond to payroll inquiries from employees, vendors, and partners.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Handle additional AP tasks as necessary.
Qualifications

Experience with Gusto, Wise, and PayPal preferred.

Comfortable working autonomously in a lean, high-growth team.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with leadership.
