About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will manage client accounts, ensure timely collections, and maintain accurate financial records. This role involves both customer interaction and data management, including analyzing delinquent accounts, reconciling payments, and assisting with compliance efforts. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to maintain account integrity and improve processes for better efficiency.
A Day in the Life

Analyze past-due accounts and initiate collection efforts.

Call delinquent clients to establish payment arrangements.

Respond to client inquiries via phone and email.

Reconcile and balance client accounts; investigate and correct accounting entries.

Enter and apply payments received from third-party vendors.

Determine when accounts should be sent to collections.

Maintain and update client records in the practice management database.

Train office staff and help develop collection procedure guides.

Identify and implement process improvements.

Ensure compliance with project budgets, deadlines, and turnaround times.
Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred

Minimum 3 years of collections or accounts receivable experience

Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to work with multiple account types and maintain data integrity

Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
