Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our AR team. In this role, you will manage invoicing, cash applications, collections, and ensure accuracy in compliance with GAAP standards. You’ll also supervise AR staff, collaborate with internal teams, and report directly to the AR Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate billing, payment processing, and cash posting.

  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.

  • Supervise and train AR staff; assist with hiring, coaching, and performance monitoring.

  • Manage monthly AR close deadlines.

  • Monitor AR aging and support collection efforts.

  • Prepare ad hoc financial and AR-related reports.

  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone and electronic channels.

  • Recommend process and system improvements for efficiency.


Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable.

  • 2+ years of supervisory or managerial experience.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and general ledger accounting.

  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
