About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate acupuncturist for a part-time or full-time role (up to 38 hours per week). This position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay based on experience (DOE), and potential bonuses. You will step into an established patient base within a serene, fully equipped clinic. Manage three treatment rooms and treat two patients per hour with support.

Core Duties – Patient Care

Conduct thorough patient intakes, assessing medical history, symptoms, lifestyle, and psychological health.

Perform physical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Explain procedures clearly and obtain informed consent.

Administer treatments, including acupuncture, ear seeds, and other modalities.

Provide dietary, herbal, and supplement recommendations, addressing risks and benefits.

Educate patients on wellness topics such as breathing techniques, posture, exercise, and self-care.

Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatments for optimal results.

Refer patients for appropriate medical care when needed.

Collaborate with other healthcare providers, integrating knowledge of Western medical practices.
Job Requirements

Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Current CA State License and malpractice insurance.

Proficiency in cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and electric stimulation; ear seeding is a plus.

Ability to create a calm and supportive healing environment.

Strong empathy and communication skills.

Passion for holistic healing and patient education.

Ability to work independently and manage a steady patient caseload.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-room setting.

Experience with herbal medicine, cupping, or additional modalities is preferred.

Orthopedic acupuncture skills are a plus but not required.

Facial acupuncture or microneedling experience is a plus but not required.
