About the Job
The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is hiring a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) team at its downtown Baltimore campus. This inpatient role focuses on the comprehensive care of head and neck cancer patients, from perioperative through post-operative phases, with future opportunities to lead a survivorship clinic.

Position Highlights

Full-time, M–F schedule | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Inpatient care for head and neck cancer patients

Opportunity for long-term care coordination and survivorship clinic leadership
Requirements
-
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification (RNFA eligibility or training preferred)
-
Active Maryland NP license (DEA and CDS eligible)

CPR and ACLS/BCLS certifications required
-
At least 1 year of RN experience; 1+ year of APP experience preferred

Oncology experience preferred

Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-centered care skills

Weekend, holiday, and on-call duties may be required
