Key Responsibilities

Assess and manage patients referred to CAU and SDEC.

Initiate and implement patient-centred management plans.

Perform clinical procedures under supervision if needed.

Lead or actively contribute to daily board rounds and MDT meetings.

Support safe, effective patient flow through the acute care pathway.

Collaborate with Consultants, junior medical staff, and nursing teams.

Ideal Candidate

GMC-registered clinician with experience in acute/general/internal medicine.

Confident managing acute patients and working in multidisciplinary teams.

Interest in frailty, same-day emergency care, or dementia care is advantageous.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
