Job Overview
Strayer University is seeking a dynamic Adjunct Faculty member to teach graduate-level Health Services Administration courses for the upcoming Winter Quarter (starting January 5th). This is a rewarding opportunity to impact adult learners through high-quality online education, mentorship, and flexible teaching.
As an adjunct professor, you will deliver engaging instruction using a pre-designed curriculum, foster academic excellence, and help students develop practical skills for leadership in healthcare administration.

Key Responsibilities

Teach assigned courses using a pre-designed curriculum while bringing in professional expertise to enhance learning.

Utilize technology, videos, and interactive content to strengthen instruction.

Engage students through the online learning platform, providing timely and constructive feedback.

Be available to students via email, phone, text, or office hours for support.

Uphold university policies, grading standards, and academic integrity.

Participate in required faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Experience Requirements
-
College-level teaching experience (online preferred).

Minimum 2 years in an administrative, leadership, or management role in healthcare (acute care, ambulatory, public/community, or home health).

Professional experience in Health Policy and/or Law (e.g., regulatory compliance, risk management, ethics boards, advocacy, or policy development).

5 years of healthcare leadership experience preferred.
Educational Requirements

Doctorate degree in one of the following:

Health Services Administration
-
Health Care Administration
-
Health Science
-
Public Health
-
Related HSA discipline
OR
-
-
Doctorate in a business-related field with a Master’s in Health Services Administration or Public Health
OR -
Doctorate in a business-related field with 18+ graduate credit hours in Health Services Administration.
Certifications

Professional certification in a relevant specialty (if applicable).
Additional Information

Remote position (no travel required).

Compensation per course (per quarter):

Online: $2,300–$2,600

On-campus: $3,000
