Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Team Support

Provide full administrative support to the Team Coordinator, Senior Leadership, and Social Work Team

Handle confidential information in line with GDPR and agency protocols

Minute meetings (e.g., Fostering Panel, team meetings, carer support meetings) and distribute accurate records promptly
-
Input and manage data across electronic systems including CHARMS, Citation, and ClearCare
-
Maintain digital and paper-based record systems to the highest standard
Training & Event Coordination

Manage the training and social events calendar for foster carers and the team

Send event notifications, book venues, prepare materials, coordinate catering and record attendance

Liaise with training providers and ensure timely issuance of certificates and updates to carer profiles
Panel & Review Preparation

Support the coordination of Fostering Panels: upload documentation, notify relevant parties, minute meetings

Prepare for annual carer reviews: coordinate schedules, gather and disseminate reports
HR & Recruitment Support

Assist with recruitment admin: references, DBS checks, medicals for carers and staff

Track completion and compliance via internal systems
Marketing & External Engagement

Support marketing efforts including recruitment campaigns and event participation

Help create promotional materials and respond to public inquiries
Reception & Facilities

Handle telephone and visitor queries professionally

Support facilities management and office supply operations
Requirements & Person Specification:
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 2 A-Levels (or equivalent)
-
5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
Experience
-
Previous admin or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data entry

Previous experience in local authority, social care or fostering (desirable)
