Job Description

Suffolk County Council is hiring an Administrator to join our SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) team based in Riverside, Lowestoft. This hybrid position offers flexible working, 30 hours per week, and a salary of £24,404 (pro rata). As an Administrator, you’ll help deliver vital statutory services that support children and young people with SEND. Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key team member, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-level support to the SEND Business Support Manager (BSM) and wider colleagues

  • Managing multiple priorities and maintaining ongoing communication with the BSM and other team members

  • Handling short-notice tasks and reworking priorities as required

  • Maintaining accurate office records and digital systems

  • Gaining an understanding of colleagues’ roles to offer cover when needed
