Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated SCITT Administrator to join our friendly and collaborative team at the Bournemouth Bay Teacher Training Partnership (BBTTP). You’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme as we train and inspire the next generation of secondary school teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain trainee records, databases, and reporting systems

  • Coordinate communications with trainees, mentors, and partner schools

  • Support trainee recruitment, vetting, and open day events

  • Provide admin and coordination support for key milestones including graduation and QTS awarding

  • General admin tasks: photocopying, mail processing, and meeting logistics

  • Promote safeguarding in line with trust-wide policies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Administrative experience including database management and data analysis

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)

  • GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths

  • Strong communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills

  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism

  • Safer Recruitment certification (or willingness to obtain)
