About the Role
The Registry Department at LSHTM is seeking four full-time Admissions Administrators to support the effective delivery of administrative services for our teaching and research training programmes.
As an Admissions Administrator, you’ll be at the forefront of student engagement—processing enquiries, applications, and registrations while providing high-level customer service to prospective students. You’ll play a key part in ensuring a smooth admissions journey and upholding the School’s mission to create a healthier, fairer world.
Key Responsibilities

Manage application processing from initial enquiry to enrolment for LSHTM programmes.

Maintain and update applicant records using internal systems in line with institutional procedures.

Respond to queries from prospective students, providing clear and supportive guidance.

Work closely with academic departments to coordinate admissions timelines and data.

Ensure compliance with admissions policies, data protection regulations, and visa requirements.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of admissions processes and systems.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria:

Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.

Prior experience in an administration or student-facing role.

Proven customer service skills, ideally in a higher education or public service environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.

Ability to manage time, prioritise workloads, and meet tight deadlines.

Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
