Position Overview
The Admissions Application Reader plays a critical role in shaping BYU’s incoming class by reviewing and scoring admissions applications based on a set rubric and established guidelines. This is a remote, flexible position with peak work periods in December–January, early June, and August.
Key Responsibilities

Review and score admissions applications according to provided guidelines.

Input evaluations into the reader portal for admissions purposes.

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all work.
Work Schedule & Hours

Approximately 17.5–20 hours of work from hire date through mid-January (including holiday season).

Additional required one-week periods in early June and August.

Outside peak periods, limited extra hours may be available.

Flexible scheduling — work can be completed any time, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
Minimum:

High school diploma and 4 years of work experience.
Preferred:
-
Bachelor’s degree from BYU.

Responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented.
