About the Role

Itchen Sixth Form College is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrator to support its Adult Education and Community Learning department. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, supporting people, and keeping things organised, this is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and passionate team.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for adult learners — assisting with enrolments, answering enquiries, and offering course guidance.

  • Maintain and update learner records accurately to meet compliance and funding requirements.

  • Coordinate with tutors, internal departments, and partner organisations.

  • Assist in marketing, events, and reception cover as needed.

  • Ensure all administrative processes run efficiently to provide a high-quality learner experience.

  • Support the Admin Coordinator and work collaboratively with the wider Adult Education team.

 What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with:

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills

  • A strong eye for detail and data accuracy

  • Confident IT and database skills

  • The ability to provide friendly, professional customer service

  • A positive, proactive, and can-do attitude

  • Experience in education, adult learning, or community work (desirable but not essential)

Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
