As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, you can expect to:
- Oversee drug procurement, packaging, patient billing, and all aspects of drug compounding and distribution.
- Provide drug information and clinical services to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Supervise Pharmacy Technicians, Interns, Students, and Volunteers.
- Monitor all aspects of drug therapy within the facility.
- Deliver specialized pharmaceutical care with age-specific competencies, serving adult, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal through adolescent patients.
- Act as a patient advocate in planning and implementing pharmaceutical care.
- Interpret and verify medication orders for accurate and efficient entry into the medical record.
- Respond promptly to medical activations as they occur.
- Gain opportunities to develop and enhance leadership skills.
Shift Details:
- Hours: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
- Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (includes 20 hours of built-in overtime)
- Teamwork: Work alongside another pharmacist during night shifts
Qualifications Required:
- Licensure: Registered Pharmacist in the State of Colorado (BCPS certification preferred)
- Certifications: BCLS/ACLS certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Education: B.S. or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy (Completion of an accredited residency program preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of three years of clinical experience required (Hospital experience preferred)
- Additional Skills: Previous management or project management experience preferred
