Job Description
Under minimal supervision, this role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and monitoring payroll and timekeeping system integrations. The position plays a key role in driving process and system improvements to enhance the efficiency of Payroll operations and the broader North America Finance and Accounting department. This individual also provides systems support to payroll processors and serves as a knowledge resource for best practices in payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain payroll and timekeeping systems.

Monitor inbound and outbound data feeds between source systems, payroll platforms, and third-party vendors; identify and resolve integration errors.

Maintain thorough documentation of business processes, system configurations, and related reference materials.

Generate and analyze complex reports for end users, summarizing data in formats suitable for management and executive-level reporting.

Recommend and support the implementation of system modifications to align with evolving business needs; perform testing and validation of system/programming changes.

Update internal job aids and workflows to reflect system updates; train staff on any related changes.

Collaborate with Human Resources and other cross-functional teams to gather and define business requirements for system enhancements or updates.

Provide technical support and guidance to end users, including issue resolution and communication of progress to stakeholders.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5–8 years of hands-on experience with payroll and timekeeping systems, specifically ADP and Kronos.

Proven expertise in configuring and integrating payroll/timekeeping systems.

Strong understanding of payroll elements including pay codes, schedules, rules, and calendars.

Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional compliance (federal, state, and local).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience using payroll system reporting tools and analyzing large data sets.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.

Compensation
-
Salary Range: $92,000 – $105,000 (commensurate with experience)
