About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to support our Director in creating a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment for children. The Teacher will assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote growth, learning, and social skills. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, and a passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities

Actively engage with children in daily activities that encourage learning and fun.

Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and availability of learning materials.

Build and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication.

Model and encourage good hygiene, self-help, and positive behavior.

Ensure smooth daily transitions between school and child care center.

Adhere to all center policies, procedures, and state childcare regulations.

Document children’s progress, interests, and share updates with parents and staff.

Maintain and follow a personal professional development plan for continuous improvement.
Requirements

Minimum 6 months of professional child care experience.

Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices.

High energy, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children.

Excellent communication (oral & written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Basic computer literacy.

Must pass a full background check and health screening.

Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Nice to Have
-
ECD 101 certification.

Additional experience in early childhood education or child care.

Strong leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
