Overview
The AI DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between artificial intelligence development and operations, ensuring efficient deployment, effective monitoring, and reliable maintenance of AI models and systems in production environments.
This role sits onsite in a hybrid capacity and reports within TIAA’s family of companies. As a Non-Employee CW, you will perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties while holding yourself accountable for achieving excellent results.
Key Responsibilities

Implement version control for code, data, and models using GitLab, SonarQube, Jenkins, Artifactory

Automate testing frameworks, including AI model validation

Design and execute blue/green deployment strategies using AI capabilities

Manage automated builds, scans, deployments, and vulnerability remediation

Review flow charts, models, and feasibility studies to design system solutions

Collaborate with system analysts, engineers, and programmers on design and performance standards

Educate end users with training materials and system demos

Troubleshoot and evaluate application operations for efficiency and effectiveness
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (University degree preferred)

7+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related field (5+ required)

Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML tools and practical use case implementation

Proficiency in Python (required), plus Java or similar programming languages

Expertise with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI, Artifactory)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Knowledge of automated security vulnerability detection (DAST/SAST/IAST scanning tools)

Practical experience building and deploying agentic AI capabilities
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of LLMs (Claude, OpenAI) with reasoning/agentic use cases

Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and context engineering
-
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication abilities
-
Familiarity with agile methodologies and AI system security best practices
