Job Summary
Marriott International is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join the US & Canada Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager of Cluster Services, this role will provide financial, operational, and project management support to ensure accurate accounting, reporting, and compliance for the Cluster Service model.
The Analyst will play a key role in supporting monthly close processes, budget planning, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies, such as MIP-44.
Key Responsibilities

Support monthly financial close processes, including journal entry preparation and posting

Assist with budgeting and forecasting for all units under the Cluster model

Manage system allocations affecting Cluster Service units

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and review profit & loss statements with Cluster leaders

Monitor and ensure accurate recording of costs and timely distribution of financial statements

Prepare and analyze working capital, productivity, and other operational reports

Perform general ledger processing and provide timely reporting

Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and corporate policies (e.g., MIP-44)

Participate in quarterly true-ups and bonus submissions

Maintain fixed asset records and ensure accurate depreciation

Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and unit leaders to ensure operational success

Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience – Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting or financial analysis

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial transaction procedures

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $64,200 – $107,500 annually

Bonus: Eligible for annual bonus
