Purpose of the Role
The Analyst will perform operational tasks interfacing with Treasury teams, primarily responsible for processing trade and payment settlements, managing funding, and ensuring timely settlement of EBRD’s banking and treasury products across global markets. The role requires adopting a continuous improvement mindset to support enhancements in operational processes within the OSM function.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution:

Manage operational processes related to middle/back office support ensuring accurate trade booking and execution.

Deliver operational excellence by meeting standards of timeliness, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Address operational queries promptly and communicate risks effectively to stakeholders.

Provide training and support within the team and assist with workload management during peak periods.
Risk, Control & Governance:

Maintain responsibility for quality output and adherence to operational controls and policies.

Support improvements in the control environment and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and quality standards.
Continuous Improvement:

Collaborate as part of a team to drive efficiencies and enhance service delivery.

Identify personal and team performance improvement opportunities aligned with operational metrics.
Service & Stakeholder Management:

Meet service level agreements and collaborate effectively within a hybrid service model.

Engage with internal colleagues and clients to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and uphold operational standards.

Represent the OSM function positively across departments by delivering excellent operational outcomes.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

University degree or equivalent experience.

Solid understanding of banking, treasury, legal, and credit processes.

Familiarity with treasury and banking products in global markets.

Experience with Summit, Frameworks, SAP, or Swift is an advantage.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.

Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with excellent customer service skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical, organisational, multitasking, and prioritisation abilities.
