What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take ownership of user stories, driving them to completion through all phases of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes work on both external-facing and internal applications, as well as process improvement activities. You’ll actively participate in Java and Spring Boot based solutions and development, performing Unit and Integration testing, Certification, and Demonstrations. You’ll also participate in Scrum ceremonies and may even play the Scrum Master role.

Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and enhancing existing applications based on business feedback. You’ll build, package, and deploy software for verification and certification using CI/CD tools like Jenkins. We encourage you to explore and bring new perspectives to problems, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks independently under minimal supervision. You’ll also engage in support activities, working with business partners to resolve issues efficiently. This role involves reviewing and creating system, software, and functional design specifications, and you’ll have the chance to assist and mentor junior team members. Other duties include documenting processes, tools, and systems, performing code reviews, peer checks, refactoring, and performance optimization, and attending technical workshops and webinars.


To Succeed In This Role

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience is required.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree and two (2) years of related experience will be accepted.

Required Work Experience Includes:

  • One (1) year of experience must include:
    • Java, J2EE, and JEE design
    • Kafka
    • Websphere Application Server
    • React
    • Angular
    • Springboot
    • Python
    • Eclipse IDE
    • Server-side application frameworks (including JSP, Servlet, and Spring)
    • ORMs (including Hibernate)
    • RESTful and SOAP-based web services (including JSON and XML)
    • Unit testing frameworks (including Junit and Jest)
    • SQL Data Store – Oracle
    • AWS: Lambda & Stepfunction using SAM app
  • Additionally, experience must include Node.js and .NET Framework with C#.
