About the Role
As an Approved Electrician, you will be responsible for a wide range of electrical tasks on active building and construction sites. Your primary duties will involve inspection, testing, installation, and general electrical maintenance. You must be confident working independently and capable of managing responsibilities to a high standard with minimal supervision.
This role is ideally suited to electricians with a solid background in commercial or industrial site work who hold relevant industry certifications.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct electrical testing and inspections in line with current regulations (18th Edition and BS7671 standards)

Perform installations, fault finding, and remedial works on commercial and construction sites

Interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring schematics, and site plans

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health & safety legislation and company policies

Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and project managers

Maintain and manage own tools and equipment
Essential Requirements

2391 Test & Inspection qualification (or 2394/2395 equivalent)

ECS Gold Card (in-date and valid)

Solid experience working on large-scale building or construction sites

Full set of own tools

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Strong understanding of health and safety procedures on-site
