Assistant Brand Manager – Optimum Nutrition

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for executing and optimizing annual brand plans for new and existing products within assigned product lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Key contributor to the brand team, executing and optimizing the strategic plan and innovation pipeline.
  • Supports brand P&L goals and financial creation/delivery for assigned product groups.
  • Assists in developing and implementing annual brand plans.
  • Measures and monitors business performance, competitive activity, and category trends, recommending actions.
  • Leads Monthly Business Reviews for assigned product groups.
  • Manages daily budget and evaluates ROI.
  • Leads briefing of internal/external creative teams for packaging, marketing assets, and in-store executions.
  • Collaborates with insights and analytics teams, using data to inform brand strategy.
  • Collaborates with customer planning and strategy teams to support sales presentations.
  • Leads innovation strategies for assigned lines, including managing projects through the stage-gate process and launch.
  • Manages assigned projects, monitoring timelines and deliverables.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant CPG experience or recent MBA.
  • Effective communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience analyzing syndicated data (NIQ, Spins, etc.).
