Role Description
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Buying and Merchandising Team at our Head Office, located at Lancaster Way Business Park, Ely. This role is a fixed-term position, lasting between 12 and 15 months, to cover maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly summaries of key performance indicators (KPIs) for your departments, including sales, stock, profit, and comparisons to budget and last year.
- Act as the primary contact for all analysis related to your departments.
- Maintain weekly stock sales and intake forecasts, driving sales, minimizing risks, and communicating with the warehouse for short-term workflow planning.
- Coordinate weekly intake planning with the wider team and liaise with suppliers to ensure stock requirements are met.
- Work with the team to manage stock levels, allocations, and replenishments for branches.
- Provide analysis and summaries of markdown and promotional activities for your departments and the wider business.
- Ensure markdowns are updated in the system in accordance with the markdown calendar.
- Calculate ratios, raise orders, process system amendments, and keep internal records up to date.
- Assist with in-season trading under the direction of the Merchandiser.
