About the job
LHH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within our clients Wastewater Treatment Plant. This role involves assisting the Project Manager in various tasks to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, managing, and executing projects within a set timeline.
- Help coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, building estimates, and scheduling meetings.
- Keep track of and report on project progress.
- Participate in project meetings and track project progress.
- Assist in the resolution of any project issues and escalate issues as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, plans, and reports.
Essential Skills:
- Proven work experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Relevant training and/or certifications as an Assistant Project Manager.
- Experience in project management within the environmental or construction sectors is preferred.
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Exceptional client-facing communication skills.
