About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Colorado Springs Airport (COS). This role supports operations across six diverse restaurant units, offering the unique opportunity to gain exposure to multiple brands and operational styles within a fast-paced airport environment.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll oversee daily restaurant operations, team performance, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with brand standards and company policies.
What You’ll Do
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will:

Lead & Develop Teams: Recruit, train, schedule, and coach team members while fostering a collaborative, guest-focused culture.

Manage Operations: Oversee all front-of-house activities including guest service standards, inventory control, and labor management.

Ensure Brand Excellence: Maintain adherence to operational procedures, quality guidelines, and brand specifications.

Handle Administrative Tasks: Manage payroll, scheduling, purchasing, and sales reporting.

Drive Performance: Monitor financials, assist in forecasting sales, and implement strategies to achieve operational goals.

Problem Solving: Address day-to-day operational challenges and escalate complex issues as needed.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in restaurant management or supervisory roles, preferably in a high-volume environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with POS systems, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and operational reporting tools.

Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and lead diverse teams while maintaining a guest-first focus.

Communication Skills: Proven ability to interact effectively with executives, union representatives, and hourly team members.
