What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee daily showroom operations, including sales, customer service, and maintenance.
- Mentor, train, and support a team of commissioned sales associates to enhance customer experience, increase sales profitability, and help associates grow their income.
- Ensure customers receive top-tier service and are satisfied with their purchases and deliveries.
- Develop and train a high-performing sales team, setting both individual and team goals to maximize potential.
- Coach sales consultants to set realistic monthly sales targets, create action plans, and provide guidance, support, and motivation to achieve objectives.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized showroom.
- Participate in the sales process when possible to elevate the customer experience and use real-time interactions as training opportunities for associates.
- Foster a positive team environment and boost staff morale.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and drive results.
- Minimum of 2 years of retail sales management experience, preferably in the furniture industry with a commissioned sales team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a preference for bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish.
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A results-driven mindset with a passion for success in a sales-focused environment.
