BVLGARI, the renowned Italian luxury house celebrated for its exquisite jewelry, timepieces, and lifestyle creations, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Chicago boutique. This role is pivotal in driving boutique growth, elevating the brand image, and ensuring operational excellence while embodying BVLGARI’s values and heritage.
The Role
The Assistant Store Manager collaborates closely with the Store Director and supports the East Coast Regional Director. As a leader, you will motivate and inspire the boutique team, oversee daily operations, drive client development, and represent BVLGARI in the Store Director’s absence.
Profile – What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable luxury retail role

Background in High Jewelry or Watches sales strongly preferred

Proven success in achieving sales and business growth results

Strong leadership and team development skills

Ability to strategize, make quick decisions, and deliver actionable results

Excellent client development skills and knowledge of the local luxury retail market

Proficiency in merchandising techniques and CRM-driven clienteling

Experience with retail systems (Beanstore, Salesforce, SAP)

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development & Growth

Create and execute strategies to achieve/exceed boutique sales targets.

Develop and maintain High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) relationships, tracking key metrics.

Monitor team KPIs and implement strategies to optimize performance.

Lead client engagement on the sales floor, hosting events and setting sales standards.

Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to capture opportunities.

Ensure visual merchandising reflects BVLGARI’s luxury vision and brand standards.

Coach team on CRM usage to maximize repeat business and client loyalty.
Team Leadership & Development

Inspire, direct, and empower the sales team to deliver exceptional results.

Provide feedback, coaching, and performance reviews to elevate service quality.

Partner with HR to drive talent development, succession planning, and career growth.
Operational & Brand Excellence

Safeguard BVLGARI’s image through operational excellence and customer service.

Ensure compliance with all operational, merchandising, and safety standards.

Act as the brand ambassador and lead the boutique in the Store Director’s absence.

Communicate with Regional leadership and represent the boutique at internal meetings.
