About the Role
Childcare Network is seeking passionate Assistant Teachers to join our mission of shaping the future of Early Childhood Education. Our schools serve children from six weeks to twelve years across 11 states, providing a nurturing and engaging environment that supports growth, development, and learning.
As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll collaborate with lead teachers to create safe, stimulating classrooms, guide children through age-appropriate activities, and build strong relationships with families. This role is perfect for those who are compassionate, energetic, and committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans.

Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Support children’s daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and playtime activities.

Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress.

Help plan and facilitate engaging learning experiences across all areas of development.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Early Childhood Education coursework preferred).

Experience in a licensed childcare center is a plus.

Genuine empathy and understanding of children’s developmental needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility and adaptability to respond to classroom and community needs.

Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children.
