Position Summary
PCSS is seeking enthusiastic Elementary Teaching Assistants to join our team for the 2024–2025 school year. Teaching Assistants will work as second teachers in classrooms, providing instructional support to lead grade-level teachers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience and has the potential to transition into a full classroom teacher role in the future.
Key Responsibilities

Support lead teachers with classroom instruction and management.

Provide individualized attention to students as needed.

Assist with lesson preparation, grading, and classroom organization.

Foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success.
Qualifications

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Passion for education and working with children at the elementary level.

Ability to relocate to Beverly, MA before start date (if not already local).
