Position Overview
As the Associate Director of Operations, you’ll play a key leadership role in overseeing all media-related billing functions and financial operations across traditional and digital platforms. Working closely with Strategy, Investment, and cross-agency teams, you will ensure financial accuracy, support client needs, and drive process efficiencies. This role is based in New York, NY and is integral to maintaining financial integrity and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end client billing for all media channels, including traditional and digital.

Collaborate with Strategy and Investment teams to verify media buys in billing platforms such as Mbox and Prisma.

Ensure timely, accurate billing by validating financial inputs and documentation.

Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly financial reports.

Act as the point of contact for inter-agency billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) communications.

Oversee AR tracking and assist in resolving vendor payment inquiries.

Lead internal quarterly financial compliance training sessions.

Monitor task progress and ensure internal and client deadlines are met.

Develop and maintain operational controls to promote efficiency and accuracy.

Support both internal and external audits and respond to client billing inquiries.
Qualifications

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a media, finance, or agency environment.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions).

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Background in accounting or budget tracking; finance experience is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Effective communicator with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.

Experience with industry tools such as MediaOcean, Prisma, and Media Tools.

Familiarity with all media types, including broadcast (TV and radio), print, digital, OOH, and local media.

Compensation
Annual Salary Range: $90,620 – $122,000
Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and role expectations. The company may modify this range at any time as needed.
