Key Responsibilities of an Associate Manager Clinical Support

  • Supervise and monitor daily workflows of clinical support staff.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in administrative and operational processes.

  • Assist in resolving complex provider and authorization issues.

  • Handle inquiries from providers, members, and internal teams.

  • Oversee chart review and out-of-network administrative functions.

  • Identify process improvements to boost accuracy and productivity.

  • Collaborate across departments on reports, special projects, and audits.

  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate the performance of team members.


Qualifications for the Associate Manager Clinical Support Role

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in human services preferred.

  • Prior experience in healthcare operations or clinical administration.

  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Experience managing remote or virtual teams in a healthcare environment preferred.

  • Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with all policies.
