About the Role

As an Associate Writer, you will write and edit inventory appraisal reports that translate complex financial and business information into clear, concise, and well-structured language. These reports analyze company operations, industry trends, and financials, and explain liquidation strategies for inventory.

This is an excellent role for recent graduates with strong writing skills, a passion for research, and an interest in business and finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write 3–4 appraisal reports per month

  • Review and edit reports for structure, clarity, style, and accuracy

  • Conduct independent research on companies and industries

  • Attend team meetings and client interviews, integrating insights into reports

  • Translate financial exhibits into written analysis of key financial trends

  • Assist with GA Group’s Industry Monitor publications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing, Journalism, Communications, or related field

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and on multiple projects at once

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, email, and online research tools

  • Interest in business and finance preferred (not required)

  • Prior experience (e.g., school newspaper) a plus
