Key Responsibilities of a Premium Audit Reviewer

Review and reconcile complex premium audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Maintain interim and RM premium audit files following company operating procedures.

Compare and validate data from field auditors, ensuring mathematical accuracy and consistency.

Perform advanced policy calculations and process accurate data entries in insurance systems.

Coordinate with underwriting teams and customers to gather additional information when needed.

Resolve external customer inquiries quickly and professionally.

Research Audit Status Reports to clear expired policies and ensure timely billing.

Endorse added states to policies before billing final audits and report additional or return premiums as needed.

Provide training and feedback to Premium Audit Technicians to enhance team performance.

Verify automation reports for rating errors and maintain the accuracy of reporting systems such as JAMS.
Qualifications for the Premium Audit Reviewer Role

Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.

Minimum of 3 years of related experience in premium audit, underwriting, or insurance operations.
