About the Site Auditor Job

The Site Auditor job at Sodexo offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening the company’s internal control and compliance framework. As part of the Internal Control team, the Site Auditor job involves evaluating financial reporting, compliance, and operational processes at the unit level. You’ll conduct detailed audits, identify control gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance business performance and risk management. This position offers flexibility with a home-based office setup and requires up to 80% travel to various Sodexo sites across North America.


Key Responsibilities for the Site Auditor Job

As a Site Auditor, you will:

  • Conduct site audits following Sodexo’s audit program and annual plan.

  • Manage all audit phases — planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.

  • Identify control weaknesses and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Track progress on management’s corrective actions and perform follow-up audits as needed.

  • Share key findings, best practices, and improvement areas with regional leadership.

  • Support regional initiatives such as process standardization and operational efficiency projects.

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure adherence to company policies and internal control standards.


Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this Site Auditor job, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of auditing experience, preferably with exposure to manufacturing or similar industries.

  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with operators and stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
