About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Ambulance Vehicle Preparation (AVP) Operative to join our team at Manor Mill & Bramley. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that all ambulance vehicles are fully stocked, clean, and ready to provide high-quality patient care.
As an AVP Operative, your key responsibilities will include:
✅ Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting ambulances to meet Infection Prevention and Control standards.
✅ Checking, inspecting, and restocking medical equipment and consumables.
✅ Conducting vehicle checks, refuelling, and moving ambulances between locations.
✅ Managing stock control and ensuring supplies are readily available.
✅ Recording daily activities and ensuring accurate documentation.
✅ Retrieving and managing equipment from hospital trusts.
No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, including a 4-week induction program.

Key Requirements
✅ Full UK Driving Licence with Category C1 entitlement (essential).
✅ Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
✅ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or within a team.
✅ Commitment to upholding YAS values and behaviours.
✅ Basic IT skills (email, internet, and handheld data devices).
Desirable:
✔ Previous cleaning experience.
✔ Knowledge of COSHH, Risk Assessments, and Infection Control Procedures.
✔ Experience in customer service or stock management.
