Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear and effective communication and guidance regarding Risk Location Strategy initiatives, with a particular focus on supporting the Buffalo Risk team.

  • Assist in advancing Buffalo Risk site leadership priorities, including governance related to communications, material distribution, and space planning. Collaborate with the Buffalo Risk site lead on the development of risk and control topics, key reporting, and presentation materials for site-wide forums.

  • Coordinate activities within the Risk Site Network to ensure alignment and effective execution.

  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and testing of Independent Risk Continuity of Business (COB) Plans, including participation in both quarterly updates and the annual review process.

  • Support the Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) process through continuous maintenance, monitoring, and improvement.

  • Participate in access review and entitlement processes to support secure operations.

  • Assist in the implementation and oversight of key initiatives aligned with the Independent Risk Chief Administrative Office’s (CAO) Operational and Compliance Risk objectives, ensuring proper execution, monitoring, and reporting.


Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in business operations, risk, or strategy-related roles

  • Strong proficiency in managing databases and information systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and comfort working with all levels of management

  • A proactive, methodical approach to problem-solving and project execution

  • Proven ability to manage time and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data management and analysis


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required
