Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Bakery Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have professional baking experience, creativity in developing recipes, and strong leadership skills to help manage daily kitchen operations. You will be responsible for producing a wide range of baked goods while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to set recipes and standards.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and introducing new or seasonal items.

  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and place supply orders as needed.

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during shifts to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Assist with catering events by producing baked items in large quantities.

  • Train and mentor junior staff in baking techniques and kitchen best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Baker or Bakery Chef in a commercial or food service setting.

  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, tools, and ingredients.

  • Experience in inventory management and kitchen operations is preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong team collaboration skills with leadership capabilities.

  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • A genuine passion for baking and delivering high-quality products.
