Spire Cardiff Hospital is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Bank Business Office Administrator to join our friendly Business Office team on a flexible bank basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking to support hospital financial operations while enjoying the benefits of working on a flexible schedule. As a Bank Business Office Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient financial processing and administrative support in a private healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Bank Business Office Administrator: Core Duties

  • Accurately process billing, ensuring prompt and precise invoicing in line with company procedures.

  • Manage consultant fees, patient refunds, and standard invoice payments through SAP and CPS systems.

  • Respond to financial and payroll-related staff queries while liaising with central payroll departments.

  • Generate and action daily and monthly financial reports according to work instructions.

  • Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and data protection when handling sensitive information.

 Who We’re Looking For:

 Essential Skills for a Bank Business Office Administrator

  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and organisational skills.

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or financial role preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Confidence in handling telephone enquiries from various stakeholders.

  • Ability to accurately manage financial processes and administrative tasks.

 Contract Type & Hours:

Bank Contract — Flexible hours between Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (primarily Wednesdays & Fridays).
