We’re looking for suitably qualified doctors across all grades and specialties to join our Staff Bank for flexible, ad hoc shifts—ranging from single shifts to longer-term assignments.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across our three acute hospital sites:
Royal Free Hospital (Hampstead)
Barnet General Hospital (Barnet)
Chase Farm Hospital (Enfield)
Specialties Needed
We are currently recruiting across, but not limited to, the following specialties:

Anaesthetics

General Medicine
-
Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Orthopaedics
-
Paediatrics
-
General Surgery
Key Responsibilities
During your booked shifts, you will:

Liaise with nurses, clinicians, patients, and families to ensure coordinated, safe care

Participate in ward rounds, board rounds, and handovers
-
Document accurately and uphold high clinical standards
-
Supervise and support junior staff as needed
-
Attend local inductions when working in new areas
-
Uphold Trust values, comply with local policies, and act professionally at all times
Essential Requirements
-
Full GMC Registration
-
Minimum 6 months NHS experience in a paid doctor role
-
Evidence of competencies relevant to your specialty and grade
-
Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced NHS setting
-
Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided)

This is a zero-hours contract with no guaranteed shifts

Candidates who have lived or worked abroad for more than 6 months in the last 5 years must provide an overseas police check
