Position: Full-Time Teller (Kinderhook Location)
We are seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our Kinderhook branch as a Teller. This role involves assisting customers with routine banking services, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and outstanding customer service.
Work Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (every other Friday), otherwise 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (every other Saturday)
Responsibilities
Process routine bank transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks. Maintain and balance cash drawers daily. Assist customers with opening new accounts. Answer multi-line phone systems and handle filing tasks. Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions. Issue cashier’s checks and money orders. Count and package currency accurately. Keep customer financial information secure. Promote Central State Bank products and services. Provide solutions to customer concerns with professionalism.
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Banking or financial services experience preferred but not required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail with strong mathematical ability. Time management skills and ability to multitask. Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and email.
