The Role
As a Banking Representative, you will be the friendly face of Metro Bank, delivering exceptional customer service while sharing your knowledge of our products and services. You’ll be a vital part of a dynamic team working to meet store goals and enhance our community presence.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide outstanding, personalised customer service, going above and beyond to meet individual needs

  • Work collaboratively with your team, balancing tasks in response to changing customer demand

  • Act as a brand ambassador, helping to establish Metro Bank as the community’s number one choice

  • Stay informed about regulatory requirements and company policies to ensure compliance and fairness

  • Maintain a keen awareness of risk, prioritising the safety and well-being of customers, colleagues, and the bank

Working Hours & Training

  • Monday to Friday: 8:45am – 5:15pm

  • Saturdays: 8:15am – 4:30pm

  • 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days

Comprehensive training will be provided, with salary uplift upon completion.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Strong relationship-building skills in a fast-paced setting

  • Excellent attention to detail, even under pressure

  • Understanding of risk and its impact on customers and the bank

  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to deliver excellent customer experiences consistently

  • While prior finance or banking experience is not required, experience in customer service roles with controlled processes is essential
