Clinical Supervisor – Job Description

The Clinical Supervisor oversees all clinical aspects of patient treatment, ensuring effective therapy and optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include assessing skills and behaviors, developing and implementing treatment plans, training caregivers and behavior technicians, and monitoring treatment effectiveness. Treatment occurs in various settings, including CARD centers, patient homes, schools, and communities. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position reporting to the Clinical Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.

  • Assess skills and challenging behaviors to create functionally relevant interventions.

  • Guide and train behavior technicians in treatment implementation.

  • Monitor treatment integrity and ensure adherence to best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

  • Collaborate with caregivers, professionals, and payers to coordinate patient care.

  • Conduct and analyze standardized assessments to track patient progress.

  • Maintain thorough documentation and uphold HIPAA compliance.

  • Stay current with ABA best practices to ensure clinical excellence.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.

  • BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

  • Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems.

  • Ability to work in various settings (center, home, school, community).

  • Reliable transportation with valid auto insurance (for some locations).

  • Must pass a tuberculosis test.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Work occurs in multiple settings, including indoor and outdoor environments.

  • Frequent movement required to assist patients, model skills, and ensure safety.

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and physically respond to patient behaviors.
